You were misinformed - giving the grade for each book is pretty much essential. The only exception would be large lots where a median, general grade is acceptable.

Either you misunderstood or someone was scamming you. Listing the grade is actually a rule in the guidelines (Rule#7).

I thought if you had photos you didn't need to :shrug: But I do agree, that it is essential to include a grade.

It's definitely not against the rules to give grades. I would like to know more about who told the seller it was against the rules. It has to be a misunderstanding. This is an injustice against the seller. He's not selling anything and it's not his fault.

I just graded them, hopefully, conservatively! The person who wrote that I couldn't post grades deleted the post about an hour after I took the grade down. I will know better in the future. Thanks for all the comments!
