PGM ADVENTURE COMICS #247

8 posts in this topic

This book has some issues. Lots of wear and tear all around. It also looks like the cover came off, someone put tape down the spine on the inside, and restapled it, with much newer staples.

Check out the scans and see if you agree. Centerfold is attached of course, and it is complete.

Color touch for sure, possible bottom edge trim as it looks shorter than other copies found on the web, but not certain as there was considerable variance in the dimensions from the printer back then. The tape looks like it was applied to a rather weak spine with multiple tears and possible splits. It looks like there was an attempt at tear seals along the right edge.

The book has reasonable eye-appeal, but I have to call it a 2.0 with slight amateur restoration. It could possibly get a 2.5 or 3.0 from CGC as even now they sometimes seem to grade as if the tape wasn't there on low grade books, and they seem somewhat inconsistent on restored grades as well.
