That's an interesting one. At a distance it looks more like Berni Wrightson to me. Sharing Studio facilities might lead to that crossover effect, of course.

I get lost in this one, Paul. And I mean that in a good way. I am drawn to classical, ethereal artists and the Studio artists do share that. Others after them such as Vess and Muth, I enjoy as well. The intricacies and detail is just incredible.

I see quite a few of these for sale. It is 7 b/w plates and one color. Produced in 1978 by Bob Hakins. If you look at the back of the envelop with the copyright information, Starlin's name is misspelled as Starling.

 

This is S/N 380/1000.
