PGM Batman #1 New 52

Having a slight disagreement with a potential buyer of this book so thought I'd get the group to be the impartial 3rd party.

 

Book is sharp and super flat. Only issue I can see are 3 color-breaking spine ticks and the top front right corner has a slight chip from it.

That high? I had it at 9.2 and my potential buyer tried to con me into it being 7.5 (which is insane).

9.4 IMHO! I don't think the spine tics are serious but the corner keeps me from giving this book a higher grade.

It's definitely more than 9.2!

Larger scans would help. But yeah, from what can be seen 7.5 seems too harsh. (Unless they thought the printed 'damage' on the back cover ad was actual damage!)

Duh! My bad. Yup, 9.2/9.4 range seems about right.

9.2 ... One CB would put it in 9.4 automatically but the fat that there is 3 pushes it down at least one category. The small chip MIGHT drag it down to 9.0. I wonder if the buyer knows that the scuffing and "water damage" on the back cover is part of the graphics of that advertisement? Maybe he doesn't.
