There are spine creases with indentations, that takes it out of your NM category.

Probably VERY FINE+ 8.5

Yup, that's some pretty serious spine damage.

 

I'd give it an 8.5 (maybe a 9.0) if it doesn't effect the rest of the book and how flat it lays out.

 

You should post scans and a picture from the side of the spine to get the best grade accuracy.

If those nicks are not color breaking that book would press 9.4 to 9.6 if color breaking 9.0 tops

9.0 IMHO! The flash from the camera is over exaggerating the creases on your book. If you had it pressed these creases most likely would be eliminated completely and you would have at minimum 9.4.
