Going to see GOTG tomorrow

Actually, I guess I'm going to see it today....

 

Should I see 2D or 3D

 

Unless everyone tells me the 3D is INCREDIBLE, I am going to the 2D. I am always disappointed with 3D with the exception of Avatar.

There are some amazing 3d effects but the fight scenes are hard to focus on. I think you will enjoy it either way though.

I would love to see this IMAX with no 3D, but these theatre owners are greedy and want to squeeze every dollar from you and have it 3D only...

The only reason I even considered it is because the theaters in my area have 3 times the showings of the 3D compared to 2D (which usually isn't the case)

 

I thought maybe it had killer 3D, but I read that it was converted and not shot in 3D, so I had to ask the good movie going people here by starting another GOTG thread.

I saw it in IMAX 3D. It looks great; I wouldn't have thought it was converted at all. However, the 3D doesn't really add anything to the experience.
