Hey Rock...

Let's me guess Adv#499 3rd print, Action#686 2nd print and MOS #20 2nd...IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND right!!!???

I know I know

Yup.

I don't even have an Action #686 2nd.

Yeah at this point I am just going to pick up the regular versions of those books just to fill in the spots. I'm sure finding those others will not be easy

I have Adventures of Superman 499 3rd print. How rare is this?

I notice that CGC's census does not even indicate that there is a 2nd or 3rd print of this issue...

Very.

The 2nd print probably doesn't exist.

A few of those look familiar. ;) Good job!

Other than the 3 impossible to find issues, what else do you need?

I have some Funeral extra printings lying around.

I have them all one way or another except for those 3 I listed

Tricky

You know, I assumed I had all of them in raw form. I picked up so many multipacks when I was a kid, and I purchased all the reprints the comic shop I bought from ordered.

I found an Action 686 2nd looks like a 9.6/9.8 with a press.

But I am missing the other 2 listed above and the Superman 75 4th newsstand.

I do have 8 copies of Man of steel 19 3rd however !

Silver-Are you testing the waters to see if I am interested in that #686 2nd print or are you bragging??

I wouldn't even know how to price those books. Yes they are rare, but are they desirable?

PM me with details if your are interested in selling. Im sure its outta my price range but Id be curious nonetheless

Haha that's sweet!

Doesn't look too bad considering what its probably been through.

Great pickup

I am addicted to the feeling when finding stuff like that in the wild.

Wow. I've known it for years, but remembering back to the 80's and 90's, and thinking about how "reprints" were so disdained for so long.

If you had said to anyone "the most valuable book to come out of the DOS set, besides the platinums, would be a FIFTH printing", you would have been laughed at.

Amazing!

I am happy to announce that all my DOS and Funeral for a Friend multiple print copies should be framed and hopefully hung up tomorrow. This has been a project putting these together and although some rarity are still missing its really cool to see these all next to each other in order.

Stay tuned!
