Yes there is an ATM there along with a Wells Fargo near the stadium.

I just sent in payment for two booths (usually take three for the local shows but not sure about how well attended it will be on short notice). Matt does have a large mailing list of attendees and there will probably be more attendees than expected but I am not sure they will be buying comics.

 

On the plus side, I will have two booths crammed with nice books from $1 to $12,000 so if you want books, come on out.

They are expecting 10,000 to 20,000 people for the first year. Basically the main con is going to sell out next year and Matt needs another con for spillage so new start cons don't take them away like Comic Media Expo and older cons don't get the spillage. Really smart on Matt's part and maybe that scares Wizard from coming in as well.

Matt runs a good show. I really enjoy the Phoenix Con. I'm glad to see him being aggressive with this show. Come out and support the con if for no other reason than to keep Wizard out. Nice to see the guest list fleshing out. Many of the usual suspects for an AZ show, but Jae Lee & Layton would be worth a trek from the East Valley.

Packing up 60 long boxes, 6 CGC and 9 Magazine boxes of nice raw books on Wednesday for a Thursday load in process. Lots of nice books that I am hoping someone will be looking for. Just picked up a Hulk 181- 9.4 white pages and All-Star Western 10-9.2 today.

 

Hope to see some Board Members this week-end. Please introduce yourself and let's work some deals.
