First Bane, Now Tom Hardy as APOCALYPSE?

If Marvel got DDL to play in a movie they'd get their first Oscar. Plain and simple.

 

That man could play Squirrel Girl and get an Oscar. Love DDL.

 

Hardy as Bane was awesome. I often quote lines from that movie in the shower. Proper harmonics etc.

Could be worse. Bane's portrayal in DKR was light-years ahead of his portrayal in Batman & Robin.

I am more worried that they want to use Apocalypse at all. He is truly a terrible (as in evil) character. For an R rating, yes. For the Mickey Mouse club? No freaking way. That movie is going to suck.

 

On the flip side, Jamie Foxx as Electro was superb. So maybe they can pull it off. Here's hoping.

Tom Hardy's a great actor, he could do a good job as Apocalypse. Better that some muscular wrestler that can't act.

 

If Marvel got Daniel Day-Lewis for a part, people would complain that Dwayne Johnson could do a better job.

Christ, ever since Image Comics hit the stands it's been style over substance. As long as it looks good, that's all that matters.
