FYI, it's considered a d-bag move to do what you just did. Agree to buy and then back out because you found it elsewhere.

 

Actually i was not aware of that, considering i hadn't gotten an invoice or any communication from seller confirming sale yet. I PMed comic nut prior to my post. Was trying to be honest and minimize his opportunity loss.

 

That being said, the sum of money obviously isnt the issue. To comply with the etiquette of the boards I will take it as stated. Ive not been on these boards very long, but in truth, i have seen on these boards people backing out a plenty, for significantly larger sums, with little comment.

 

The one thing i apologize for is cluttering up Comicnut's sale thread with unintended drama.

 

Comicnut please send invoice when you are able.

Let's be very clear about something on this forum.

When a seller posts something for sale, it is for sale.

When you post that you are going to take it, then it is sold to you.

The seller doesn't need to send you a PM right away nor even acknowledge in the thread that you took it. By YOU indicating you're taking it, means it is sold.

There are a few folks on here that have been buying books from me for months and we've never even exchanged a PM yet because they don't need to. That is how it works. Although most do end up PM'ing asking if I have something, or shipping rates or trades etc.

Why would I send an invoice to you after you bought one book. Most people buy many books over a period of time in long sales threads.

And lastly I clearly indicated in my thread, in the first post, that the buyer is to PM when they want to close out their buys. It is not for me to guess when.

 

As for timeline you said you would take it on the 25th at 3PM

On the 26th (yesterday) at 2:11 PM you PM'd to say you were backing out.

On the 26th (yesterday) at 2:13 PM you posted saying you were backing out.

I'm reading my PM's now after having spending some time with my family on Sunday.

You're indicating that you've had no communication from me at all.

However I clearly indicated in the thread (as per my last post) that I would finish the thread "late tonight" or Monday. I think it obvious that I was going to be away today.

Those are the facts

I'll hear no more on the issue from anyone.

 

Mongkorn has indicated he doesn't want the book.

Number6 has indicated he would take it.

Instead of making Mongkorn take the book against his wishes just to conform, I'll release him and sell to Number6 who wants it.

 

Anyone have an issue with it can PM me.

 

Thanks to those whom took up the issue while I was away and Number6 for giving the solution which should make everyone happy.
