I have a NM 98 missing a corner. How much does it affect the grade?

It has 2 barely noticeable spine ticks and 1 missing corner.

 

How bad is it?

i would say around 8.0

I just really wanted to know how much a cut corner does to a grade before other defects are factored in

Your picture is magnified, I have seen that on a 9.6 if its the only major defect.

If you have a scan of the entire front cover, that corner chip would not look as bad.
