flash 123 edge chip plus miscut - can it get a 7.0 or is it stuck in 5.5 land

Trying to figure out if this issue is worth grading. Can it get a 7.0 or better. Problem is...

 

1. There is a very small marvel chip directly accross from flash's ear on right hand side. Hard to see bc of cover color.

 

2. Comic is miscut. Left and top sides cut short. Bottom is longer than normal. I did a comparison to other issues. Probably not trimming...but ?

Pics are too small and blurry to make a decent assessment. Not sure, but I don't think Marvel chip applies to DC books. Great book, tho.

Chip looks pretty minor and miscut will be ignored by CGC. I'm guessing you're between the 5.5 and the 7.0. I'd guess 35% 6.0 / 65% 6.5.

If this was a Marvel book I'd call that "Marvel Chipping." 6.0 as is for me.

The right side and top could be trimmed. I am pretty bad at discerning that. The bottom had more art than other copies. Thus I suspect all of the art differentials are the function of a factory miscut, not trimming. That said, it is possible it was trimmed and miscut at the factory. I don't have the skills to detect trimming. I do need to add that skill to my repertoire.

I'd agree, most likely in the 6.5 range, but getting a 7.0 is not out of the question.

I'm with a guess of 6.5, but to do these books justice you need at least a scanner.

Too much wear. Maybe 6.0 if pressed.
