I bet 89 of the 90 boxes are Copper Age.

I called the guy. He said it was about 10,000 comics. 80% superhero. Mostly early 80s & earlier. No early Marvel keys like Hulk 1, AF 15, Spiderman 1, FF 1, etc, but many bronze keys like ASM 129 & 2 copies of Xmen 94 + GS Xmen 1.

He said there was some 50s & at least 1 from the 40s

 

It was his personal collection. He told me he set up at flea markets for years, so it made me think the boxes might have been somewhat cherry picked.

 

he wanted $15,000 for the 10,000 comics. I'm sure he would go less.

 

I decided I didn't even want to go look (It's about a 2 1/2hour drive from Atlanta). I'm sure there's some profit to be made but there's a TON of work involved.
