On another note, bring on the million+ copies of Star Wars 1. Let's get kids interested in comics again.

 

This is a wonderful and oft overlooked point.

 

100% agree. One million copies of any comic selling these days should be a cause for celebration. This industry was in dire straits only a few years ago.

If it's kids buying them? Absolutely. If it's speculators buying cases for the college fund? Nope.

 

We have been down this road before with mega print runs and endless variants and the results were not pretty. Some might say that's why the industry was in dire straits a few years ago.

So much love for this story no surprise creators would line up to do a cover. It's not inconceivable some will only buy the 30 variants of the first issue. 30 books is not a lot for a set.
