CGC is not as hard on chipping as other defects. I agree with the 6.5 range as far as grade goes.

Shows what I know - thought chipping was a bigger deal. Is it only Marvel chipping they take it easy on? It seems like I've seen some GA books get hammered with the same flaws.

The way I view chipping is CGC doesn't hammer it unless its an ultra high grade 9.0+. Unless its a pedigree. I see Northlands in 9.2/4 with pre marvel
