10 favorites that you would take on an interstellar journey

Hah! I stole jimbo's idea! :acclaim:

Post 'em,or miss the rocket ship!

Slabbed, raw, high grade, low. Books, pulps, magazines, comics - heck, doesn't matter. Just makes sure they'd be fun as you'd have no audience. Be 'Robinson Crusoe in space', and think accordingly. (Personally I always preferred Swiss Family Robinson - they had so much fun, and that wrecked ship was a cornucopia!)

Here are mine, ya know, to stop me going bonkers until Friday turns up:

Going on an instellar journey? What if aliens hi-jacked your ship somewhere in deep space? Pack ten that might provide some levity...or make the bug-eyed monsters really angry...

And then one to appease them...

Two Questions:

1. If this is to be a solo journey, does porn count? :insane:

2. If it doesn't have to be a solo journey can the choice of favorites extend to passengers you'd like to smuggle on board?

OK, while Flex is mulling over my query, for intellectual stimulation I'd be sure to have everything backed-up on hard-drives three different ways before agreeing to take this journey, space limitations being a consideration. What I'd bring along for aesthetics would represent everything I'd be homesick for while on this long voyage.

My cut-down interstellar collection would look something like this...

PAINTINGS (What life journey would be complete without original art?):

[font:Times New Roman]Alex Schomburg's Marvel Mystery #66 (cover recreation)

BOOKS:

The recently published super sized [font:Times New Roman]Little Nemo In Slumberland (Tachen).

Fortunately, in Zero G it would be light enough to pick-up, read and ogle.

OK, on second thought, scratch the Tachen book.

I'll upload it and blow up the pages on a giant hi-def monitor NASA begrudgingly included to entice me to make this journey. hm

Now for COMICS (very tough call):

Sneaky, I am. I'd do my best to smuggle the second key Daring Mystery super-hero smack down on-board too. >>>>> (:

OK, looks like another smuggling job, or maybe I should just alter the cargo manifest. >>>>> hm

Now if my lazy cargo checker miscounted, allowing me to sneak additional comics into my stored booty, these'd find they're way on-board too...

Come to think of it, those last two might not've been the best choices for a long interstellar journey with an uncertain destination!

Two Questions:

1. If this is a solo journey, does porn count? :insane:

Porn only counts if it knows basic arithmetic - the more basic the better.

2. If this isn't a solo journey can the choice of favorites extend to passengers you'd like to smuggle on board?

What was the first question again?
