10 favorites that you would take on an interstellar journey

54 posts in this topic

Going on an interstellar journey? What if aliens hi-jacked your ship somewhere in deep space? Pack ten that might provide some levity...or make the bug-eyed monsters really angry...

That's the very definition of an interstellar book.

Which kidney would you like? (I still have two.)

Two Questions:

1. If this is a solo journey, does porn count? :insane:

Porn only counts if it knows basic arithmetic - the more basic the better.

2. If this isn't a solo journey can the choice of favorites extend to passengers you'd like to smuggle on board?

What was the first question again?

Robinson Crusoe, ...or the Swiss Family Robinson? ;)

I'm much better at math with tutors of the human female persuasion, but if limited to robotics, I can be creative. lol

I'm afraid it's Pris or the comics. Decisions, decisions.

Wait a minute! Pris was programmed for a short lifespan over 33 years ago!

This cat would require an android with at least nine lives for an interstellar journey. cat_zps671302a6.png

Why in the world (or out of the world) would you take slabbed books? You can't read 'em. :eyeroll:

Actually you can't read 'em. I'd be in space with 'em doing whatever the hell I please (thumbs u

Why cant the best cover be less rare? You'll probably find one before I'm ready to part with it. I'll certainly let you know if I spot one.

:wishluck:

I can actually hear Ming going "Bwah-ha-ha-ha" when I see this cover.

Now give me ten, mister! lol

I haven't heard that expression since I was in the army... :D

When the drill sergeant said "Give me ten" did you show him some comics?

Hate to tell ya what he would have done if I had, lol!

OK, here's a listing, as also posted in the thread originally asking what books I would take along;

This is in no particular order, and based solely on story content. Since there's a weight limitation, I'll leave my shoes behind, so I can add 4 more books, eh eh;

Haunted Thrills, #9

Mysterious Adventures, #23

Shock Suspenstories, #14

Witches Tales, #5

Out Of The Night, #13

Suspense (Atlas), #19

Secret Mysteries, #16

Adventures Into Weird Worlds, #27

Mysterious Stories, #2

Weird Thrillers, #5

Strange Suspense Stories, #3

Beware, Terror Tales, #6

Mysterious Adventures, #12

Journey Into Unknown Worlds, #5
