Now, how far up the box office chain does it go in the end? Does it top all of the biggest MCU movies? As the capstone for all of the movies, it feels like it should. I am just reporting what I am hearing from the people at work and other friends that are not comic fans. I personally thought it was an awesome film. Come on, change is as good as a holiday, otherwise its just too same old same old cookie cutter Marvel. Agreed. I put this movie up there with the first GotG, and first Avengers as my favorite Marvel films to date.
musicmeta
This was maybe the best Super Hero movie I’ve ever seen. It’s certainly right up there with Captain America The Winter soldier and the first Iron Man movie. Wait...nowhere near as good as Daredevil with Ben Afflick.....just kidding. GOD BLESS.... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) Banner in the Iron Man suit looked really bad towards the end of the movie when the helmet was off. I guess they ran out of CGI money. Bosco685
Turns out Tom Holland is so known for spilling the beans on Marvel hidden details, the rumor is the Russo Brothers at one point game him a fake -script before shooting. And on press tours, they paired him up with Benedict Cumberbatch to stop him any time he spoke too much. Benedict Cumberbatch is the best line of defense for Tom Holland’s big mouth LOL Poor Mark Ruffalo butt-dialing the early release details of Infinity War. He'll never live it down. Bosco685
Mark Ruffalo Spoiled the End of ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Last Summer and No One Noticed Quote Marvel did an astonishingly good job keeping secret the major spoilers in the end of Avengers: Infinity War. Sure, fans guessed some of the twists based on the trailer, and a few of the surprise returning characters were spoiled by some paparazzi photos. But the brunt of the ending — Thanos succeeding in collecting all the Infinity Stones and wiping out half the universe, including many of the Avengers — was about as major a shocker as any blockbuster in recent memory. Marvel kept that ending in a vault so secure it would make Odin jealous. Except the ending was revealed nearly a year ago in an interview with a national television show, and basically nobody noticed.
Bosco685
Russo Brothers shared during an interview the status of characters that did not appear in Infinity War. One once again is a major Thor character thrown to the wayside. Avengers: Infinity War’ Directors Confirm Which MCU Supporting Characters Lived or Died Spoiler Quote The dapper duck “survived,” Joe Russo said. Jane’s fate was dubbed “too spoilery.” He “did not survive,” Joe confirmed, a fate sure to please Matt Damon nemesis Jimmy Kimmel. “Gone,” Joe said simply. Though they may have survived that initial onslaught, were they wiped out by the snap? “Spoiler,” Joe said. Shuri’s fate is a “spoiler,” Joe said. “Spoiler,” said Joe. May is “safe,” Anthony said. HuffPost reports the Russo brothers confirmed she won’t be involved in the Infinity War sequel. “Gone,” Joe said.

AnthonyTheAbyss
I don't think it will hit $2B. Deadpool will put a stop to it. If it comes within spitting distance I think Disney should just buy $1M worth of tickets and give it away as a "thank you" public relation move. Prince Namor
14 more days of 50% Domestic drops (reasonable to assume) would give it another $72+ Million and put it at $620 Million, to move up one place and tie #7 Star Wars: The Last Jedi. If China's numbers come through at $200 Million (very likely) that would put it at 1.878 Million after 14 days, not counting any other foreign box office. That would put it firmly in the #4 spot all-time Worldwide. After ONE MONTH. Most movies this big run for 4 months. There's another $70 Mil there 2nd month domestic, and if the Chinese market comes close to the high end (most likely) of $250 Million, this movie could possibly hit the $2B mark at the end of it's second month.... comic_memories
Bosco685
$2B for a comic book movie. There have got to be directors just kicking-mad thinking this trend has to end soon like they predicted years ago. And it won't!

The people who make those predictions haven't been studying the history of the heroic myth throughout the entire recorded history of human civilization. The question isn't when the superhero wave will end; the question is what the next form of the heroic myth will be. It CAN'T disappear, it can only be replaced. And the people predicting the death of superheroes probably won't like whatever heroic narrative form eventually replaces it, either, so they can just suck it. valiantman, Larryw7 and Bosco685
