Thank you!

WOW! those are some really low numbers.. For example:

http://www.comichron.com/monthlycomicssales/2012/2012-04.html

3. JL #8 REG - 128,991

.

.

.

.

283. JL #8 COMBO - 4,249

:o

You're going to pass out over the difference in Superman Unchained #1

THAT is insane.. I really think theres huge potential with these for the long run.. I can see a comparison to a rare price variant with these in some 10-20 years..

Esp since they seem to be quite accessible on eBay at the moment

I double checked the Registry for Batman, Wonder Woman, and the Flash, and there are not slots for Combo Pack variants.

I believe they are just lumped together with the standard covers.

clearly as youve stated, cgc separates them.. maybe no one has subbed any of the Batman, Wonder Woman, and the Flash ones yet

No, they are in the Census, and clearly separated from the standard covers.

Maybe no one in the Registry Sets have asked for them to be separated.

Very strange about that newsstand price hm

My question is.. Shouldnt a price variant be indicated as a price variant? If so how come CGC doesnt label combo packs as such? Just curious as to what earns the label "variant" then

CGC will only recognize a price variant if the indicia indicates a different price than the direct edition.

Also, for many years through out the 2000's most of Marvel's mainstream newsstand titles were always prices higher than their direct edition counterparts.

They are separated in the Batman registry. Check out the top set:
