How good is the imaging that you get from CGC?

Under Additional Services on the submission form, what does the "Image" option mean?

This is where a basic digital image (72 dpi web-quality) is taken of the front of the comic after grading and encapsulation that is sent by e-mail for internet purposes. The cost for this is $3 per book and if selected the whole invoice must be imaged.

Really bad photoshop on some of those. Looks better to just crop the image close instead of using what looks like the eraser tool and a shaky hand.

Note though that all of the wonky edges are the same for every book... looks like they might be scanning each book with a (loosely) slab-shaped white frame around it, to save time cropping/etc? No question though that it was poorly done. The Sugar and Spike one looks better... hopefully it's newer.
