Comic Knowlege! Who can help?

37 posts in this topic

I was always under the impression it was Hulk #271, but MP #7 pre-dates that by a good 6 or 7 years. A quick search shows that CGC labels state MP #7 is the first Rocket.

I'd be inclined to say MP #7 unless there's a question of whether it's the "actual" Rocket in MP #7 or if it's one of those "proto-characters" that's similar in appearance and name...

EDIT - A bit more searching, and the Hulk #271 CGC labels state: first "comic book" appearance of Rocket Raccoon, implying he appeared in some other media (likely the MP #7 magazine) first.

Hey Guys,

So when I search online to see what Roccoon's first appearance is - I show on wiki-marvel that it is Marvel Preview #7, but all over ebay it says INCREDIBLE HULK #271

Which is it?

The answer is in this video.

Here is how the board is described:

A comic book collecting board for general discussions of all things vaguely related to comic books, creators, artists, writers, movies, pricing, etc.

Subforums: Comics related - Movies, TV, Video games

Guy asked a legitimate question relative the the boards description, get's one legit answer and God knows what else. But then again it is Friday, isn't it?
