A little hard to tell, but no better than 6.5 for sure. I am thinking 6.0

5.5/6.0 range. Spine wear; light bend URC that seems to affect the interior pages; bend on LLC of back cover. Still a nice book.

 

(As an aside, you should be careful bending the cover back to scan the first page like that... stress at the staples can detach the cover there.)

Agree w/Point Five. No need to open that book for the scanner. PQ won't affect the grade.

OK, it’s creased around the spine, but I still feel the pain of this poor #57 under the scanner glass…

 

If you really have to scan a page, I leave the scanner lid open and place a piece on the book of paper to protect ths scan from light – like this, so the book does not suffer any kind of stress:
