Help me grade my BATMAN 80-Page GIANT #208

Book is in like-new condition, never opened or read. Pages are in excellent shape. Whaddya guys think

The book itself looks much whiter than the scan. That area around the elbow is like a pressure indent. The scan looks yellowed, but the book itself looks very white. Scan really makes this look worse than it is.

Is this from the same collection as the Captain Action with the rusted staples? This book appears to have the same problem.

 

I don't know how to factor the staples, but otherwise it looks 8.5. Nice book!

Yes, it is. The whole collection of these books are like that. Pristine in many ways except the discolored staples. Varying to different degrees between books. Had one book from this batch come back a 9.4 though. (The only one I had graded so far.)

7.5 VF- Spine creasing goes through to both covers; rust migration to inside back cover. Even if cleaned, those spine creases will hurt you.

I have this book. I love the cover, but mine is probably more along the lines of a GD/VG copy

A very nice copy I would give it a 8.5.....

i'm thinking those FC spine stresses and the dirt and rust on the back will hold this down to an 8.0..........nice looking book, though........
