Top 10 DC Silver Age

So I know there was a top 10 silver age and a top 10 marvel silver age - so I thought it would be fun to see what the consensus was on the top 10 DC silver age keys.

How could anyone NOT have picked Showcase 22?

 

The absolute no-brainers to me are:

 

Showcase 4

Showcase 22

B&B 28

 

 

Beyond that, I also think that Adventure 247, Flash 105, Flash 123, Showcase 34 and B&B 34 are automatic, but I can see why others might differ on them.

Agreed. I got my first 5 easy.. After that it was harder. So many important but not killer key books to choose from.

Here's the thing about adding Tec 225- it precedes SC 4. If we consider Tec 225 SA then it's the first SA book.

I know - I debated not including it, as I agree it predates SC4 (which is the first "Silver Age Book") - but I decided to bend the rules a wee-bit

 

Geesh looks like I screwed up the poll - no OAAW 83 and I included Tec 225 - can this exclusion and over-inclusion cancel each other out?

It's not Golden Age, so if it's not Silver Age, what is it? It got my vote as well.

 

I was happy there were enough choices that I didn't even have to consider Aquaman.

I think first Atom is a big SA one. One of few that are actual first appearances and not only first in the age.

I sort of agree although I think only BB28 and SC4 are really clear kings, and BB28 THE absolute king of those two (afterall SC4 is not even a first appearance - but besides that both have a lot of added significance).

 

SC22, SC34, and BB34 are next. Big keys.
