I looked for this book for a long time, it's a little higher than I usually collect, but it was the only one I found.

 

I just have to make a few decisions on what I can keep right now, so it's for sale.

 

 

I'm hoping if it sells, I can find a lower grade one;) Sold

 

It's not a Schomburg, but it's a Biro...and he was pretty good, too;)

Zip Comics #8, (8.5) MLJ, OW/W and scarce, bondage cover. $1450

I left this for last, not just because it's special, but because I couldn't figure out how to price it.

 

Marvel Mystery Comics #10, a key book, the end of the Submariner Human Torch Battle. This appears to be an old label and the 11th wrap is backwards, perhaps that wrap could be fixed and the book resubbed, because it's a nice looking copy, it's possible that would raise the grade (also possible it wouldn't;;) It's also an Old Label.

Ex. P, pieces added, Color touch, tear seals, cleaned, reinforced.

 

 

The last of an MP (this is EP) was 3 years ago...and prices go pretty high on some of the others, so I just looked at Overstreet... 25% of Overstreet is $1700, so I'm just going to go with that.

Beautiful copy of a tough early GA book. A lot of tempting books in this thread. hm

Great books, and I love this one in particular. Nice pickup! Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but I particularly like the Checking Copy stamp. It just gives it uniqueness and a bit of history that I like.
