I am looking forward to this. Issue 0 ships in April and will cost a quarter. Dynamite is obviously adopting the Conan model. Here's hoping they can duplicate Conan's quality.

Yup, I've pre-ordered 0 issue but I'm not sure that this series will be better then Dark Horse's Conan.

 

We'll see.

Agreed. I have hopes for a solid read with Oeming writing. I did not read the recent Ragnarok storyline in Thor but from what I can tell those who read Oeming's Thor run were pleased.

Yeah, the Oeming Thor Finale was pretty darn good. I'd like to see them bring Thor back, but quite honestly, NOT as a feature character in his own book. I'd like to simply see him rejoin the Avengers. Now, how he can do that with the Odin Power and looking like he's too powerful... probably won't happen.

Seems like you can't have a chain-mail character these days without Oeming being involved. Too bad he's not doing the art.

as with any T&A mag.....it's gonna have to have story...and a good one at that...hopefully a good mix of present and past/origin arcs...

 

too many times they just put porn star barbie in fight scenes and think that's good enough...

 

Red is one of those fringe characters that always looks good to me but then fails to hold my attention....I'll pick up the first issue and see how it goes from there...

There was an interesting piece on this on Newsarama. I will be trying out this new series. Is this the first book Dynamite are self-publishing as opposed to releasing through Devil’s Due?

Not impressed with the cover. Looks like the kind of "metal babe" that high school guys used to draw on their folders in the 80's--complete with the hidden hand ("because I can't draw hands, except if they're holding a sword!").
