Avengers # 1 and GS Xmen 1 on Pawn Stars and Star Wars Movie Props.

Incase anyone wants to watch , the new Pawn Stars on History Chanel has a fella bringing in Avengers #1 and Giant Size Xmen # 1 tonight. Just a heads up.

What grades did they give them and what did they offer?

He graded the GSX a 7.5 about 500 bucks and the Avengers a 6.5 he said around 4200. I thought they both looked a bit better than that

Greg was a natural, totally smooth in front of the camera. Paul Litch was also totally believable. I thought it was hilarious that Paul undergraded the books to Greg's dismay. It was interesting to hear Paul's comments on the flaws. The Avengers 1 had good color strike but had top edge chipping and tanning on the inside cover with Cream pages. Good job by all !!!

That was just very strange.... why would he take classic comicbooks to Pawn Stars where they make their living giving lowball offers to people and where he walks out looking like the loser ("Your opinion means nothing")

Something to take away here, when discussing the grade on the Avengers, Paul mentioned the cream pages. I interpreted this to mean the Page quality directly affected the grade, as well it should.
