True blue. That is the grade I had passed on for years, seemingly put off. I'm glad you made the effort! Congrats :x

This is a great looking copy! Looked better than the 6.5 I had posted previously (mine had more visible spine tics and corner creasing). I did end-up upgrading to an 8.5 though.

Mercy, it IS nice :xlol I've got to get me one of those. I'm happy that you guys are happy. 8.5 would be a bit up there for this book, right? I'm not too sure of the census, although it would seem 8.5 nice, I'd be happy with the 6.5 as well :shy:

How's this for luck? Here's a page from a checklist I kept as a teenager in the 70s (yeah, I started early as an OCD collector) and recently rediscovered in a box in my attic. It shows issues of the relatively few Marvel comics I had back then, since I was mostly a DC war comics fan for some reason. Anyway, I had a grand total of three WWBN issues, and two of them were 32 and 33. As for Amazing Spider-Man, I also had only three of those -- including #129!

Only downside is that my &%$#@! 12-yr-old self cut a coupon out of the WWBN 32, hence the qualified grade.

Lol

That is a keeper. Cheaper thrills cant be found, without the same kind of doh!

Lol I feel your aggravation. Still, life is a learning period at the moment you find meaning. I find feeling in numbers, but now, you have the wisdom and understanding, a lot to be thankful for.

What struck me too was just the analog, pre-internet nature of it. My adult kids, who all grew up with the web and digital apps, are amazed at the handwritten effort I put into keeping track of my collection back then — but there was no other way to do it!

Believe me, there is a bit of irony to it all that even I don't fully comprehend. Just knowing the dedication that it took. In today's world were results and etc are a button push away, that is just not as seemingly interesting (sometimes).
