Here's a page from a checklist I kept as a teenager in the 70s (yeah, I started early as an OCD collector) and recently rediscovered in a box in my attic. It shows issues of the relatively few Marvel comics I had back then, since I was mostly a DC war comics fan for some reason. Anyway, I had a grand total of three WWBN issues, and two of them were 32 and 33. As for Amazing Spider-Man, I also had only three of those -- including #129! Only downside is that my &%$#@! 12-yr-old self cut a coupon out of the WWBN 32, hence the qualified grade. Cheaper thrills cant be found, without the same kind of Lol I feel your aggravation. Still, life is a learning period at the moment you find meaning. I find feeling in numbers, but now, you have the wisdom and understanding, a lot to be thankful for. My adult kids, who all grew up with the web and digital apps, are amazed at the handwritten effort I put into keeping track of my collection back then — but there was no other way to do it! Believe me, there is a bit of irony to it all that even I don't fully comprehend. Just knowing the dedication that it took.
