tth2
here is one of those REALLY hard to find single digit MGA's I mentioned. I love the colors on this one too... What an awesome cover! Never seen this before.
shiverbones
Have you ever seen the lava cover? I think it's #6 - Just amazing. the early issues are tough books though, It's not often they even show up on ebay or dealer sites except for #1 & 3 which are a bit more common. adamstrange
cool! Never knew about that one! There might be one more pre-code but just can't remember whether or what issue it is. I just have this vague recollection of learning via the boards that I had another issue to find.

shiverbones
These are FAR from that beautiful 9.6 Star Spangled, but I am posting a few beat up early SA actions...

steelcity
Possibly the last person to actually say "blimey" was Van Dyke in Mary Poppins! Here, the reader is left in no doubt that the Dynamic Duo are indeed in London, swinging around as if they know where they are going!
steelcity
Detective Comics #205 is another of those exotic issues. A true key, this issue hardly ever shows. This copy is the best I have seen, though some nicer ones may well lie hidden in collections...
