In Hindsight, Which Purchase are You Glad Fell Through?

Last year I made a final bid (on Ebay) on a full run of X-Factor. A few hours later, I started thinking... what the hell am I gonna do with another worthless box of moderns. Thankfully, someone outbid me at the last second.

 

I hate having these impulses where I just blindly make a bid or purchase without thinking it through first.

I'm glad I placed losing bids on some classic GA covers in POS grade. Lost out on a Mr. Mystery #12 awhile back that was a real beater. Can't say I'm too sorry about that one!

There was a time when I was seriously considering selling off most of my collection just to buy one copy of Fantastic Four #1 in "Near Mint" from a certain banned ex-forum member. Thank the stars above THAT one fell through. I talked to enough dealers about that seller to verify what I pretty much already knew--trying to go unslabbed on that kind of book stinks to high heaven.
