I have to give the final attendance numbers about a week before the dinner. There's still plenty of time to decide. I just wanted to get things rolling early to let folks know and plan for it

I'd like to add my wife and I to the official board dinner list even though our travel plans haven't been firmed up yet (we're still working on hotel accommodations near the con).

 

Our reconsideration of attending Chicago this year was prompted by the recent availability of an Amtrak sleeper suite for the trip (usually these have to be booked three months or more in advance).

 

If anyone learns of any free'd up rooms at a decent hotel near the convention, PM me. :headbang:

 

Addendum: Room checked off the list! Even though we were able to book one quickly through Trivalgo, the heads up about another openning was much appreciated, Steve.
