Updated with Data - Overstreet 2015 vs 2014 - Lay Your Bets!

Daredevil 8,9,11-110,120,158,163,164,170-172,178,180-191, and Annual #1, increased by only 0.9 %. This title had the slow and steady price increases that I understand Mr. Overstreet prefers. Half the silver and bronze issues did not change, while the other half increased, but only by a dollar or two. Zero change for Frank Miller issues.

Detective 333,346,347,358,373,375,378,380,383,384,386,388-394,396,398-410,412-421,423-437, increased by only 0.8%. No increases for most issues, and only small increases for keys.

And finally....Fantastic Four. I had only input the 2014 values for the earliest part of my collection when the 2015 guide came out. So fair disclosure, this slice of my collection concentrates on some first appearances that we all know have sky rocketed in value.

The issues are 21,44,45,51-70, and they were up 50.3%!!!!!!!!!! Non key issues have not changed, but 45 more than quadrupled. Issue 53 in 9.0 went from $706 to $1284. Issue 53 is up a bit too. Issues 65 and 67 have doubled. This is a great time to be already in possession of Stan and Jack's best issues....and a terrible time to be trying to buy them.

So the overall increase in the collection value from 2014 to 2015 was 9.9%. Going back to the first page, we had guesses of 8% from AJD and 12% from High Stakes Comics, so you gentlemen may share the No Prize. And for the rest of you who questioned their sanity and insisted we would only see a 2% increase, your collections may have appreciated far more then you realize this past year!
