That was a ludicrous amount of money for those books. I GUARANTEE you I can walk into the small Richmond Comic Con with 15K and come out way ahead just buying wall books from the usual suspects and they'll be a helluva sight easier to move. Not to mention more enjoyable to collect. Most of that stuff is low-grade off-key box fillers.

Ended up going for $17,877.77

A little more than I thought it would.

 

Seller ended up in way better shape than the buyer, I'm afraid.

Try telling your wife and your girlfriend that you need 10 hours to fly half way (or all the way) across the country for some comics that you may or may not buy from a stranger....

 

If you have a wife AND girlfriend, you probably don't have the time or money fly across country to buy some comics :baiting:
