How can I tell whether I got a real Amazing Fantasy 15?

I was at half price books and picked up a few books that might be of some value that I am unsure of. Anyway in the 50cent bin I found what looks like to be pages from amazing fantasy 15. It's definitely not an 80's reprint pages as I own a few of the marvel tales 137 reprints(reprint of amazing fantasy 15) and the inks look more silver age. Anyway it is missing the cover, first page and 2nd and the outer wraps/cover. I highly doubt it's the real deal....but how can I be certain? If it's real I'd like to get a repro cover for it and the pages it is missing and file this away in my collection.

It has shotty old tape on it that is like drying out.

Yeah. Good catch. It's on both pages left and right, meaning the staple goes through the whole book in the same place, not just the front or back half of a regular sized comic... like an annual.

thanks for the confirmation. I figured it was too good to be true, but wasn't sure. I know the inks look a hell of a lot older than my 82 reprint copy I have.

I had mine done by Fedoraman , perfect work. Did a cover reproduction of AF 15 , Hulk 1 and FF 1 for me.
