Canadian Edition Barks!

Picked up a nice stack of Cdn Edition DD Barks books. All Four Color from issue 199-300 area. Are these on par with regular editions price-wise?

 

I know there's a thread somewhere in here but the search engine sucks

Don't think so - maybe half price or so? When I was after those books I often saw CDN editions selling for much less than the US editions (or not at all). That was a few years ago though, and foreigns seem to have warmed up a bit.

Dealer I spoke to today said he gets full guide or more for Cdn editions, local dealer of course. Canucks dig 'em

 

Also got a FC 178 first Uncle Scrooge but it's a regular edition

Also of great note from this little score is this comic. Canadian edition in at least a 6.0, can benefit from a press, yadd, yadda. Super nice book

 

Strange Adventures 2

 

Has the cover of SA 4 but is dated the same as issue 2. Most likely a printed version of issue 4 before issue 4 was released in the US. Has stories from issue 2, Jack kirby art to boot.
