Hi Folks,

 

Strange Adventures #206 - Neal Adams' credit as the peniclier

 

I am Neal Adams fan and am very familiar with his drawing technique but his pencil work on the storyboard. It looked like not his drawing style - maybe he was told to have this job be done before the deadline. What is your thought?

 

I will have Neal Adams signing my book next month at Wizard World Chicago.

Roussos was told to make Neal's pencils look like Infantino from issue 205 (which of course Neal loved) which is why you see what you see. From that point on Neal took over penciling and inking.

Not sure what your question is.

Neal pencilled the interior Deadman story for #206, his first Deadman story.

Perhaps it's the inks that threw you off? Roussos is not the right inker for Adams.
