Why is Marvel Spotlight #2 even on that list. Doesn't even belong on there.

I'm a horror freak, but GS X-Men wins because of the overall impact on the series. First issue of blah, 1st appearance of blah doesn't cut it.

These are pulled from the BA Hall of Fame in OS ish # 30, and at least I didn't include- Supermans Pal, Jimmy Olson 133 or Detective Comics 400.

OK Bub, TOD and GR did go on to be more popular, but a staple of the BA was Marvels horror books, and Marvel Spotlight #2 launched that genre for the MU. It has a Neal Adams cover and the man called Ploogs first Marvel work. SO there MR.

I just checked my OS on page 61 where they list prominent comic artists.

 

"The following artists are considered to be either the most collected in the comic field or otherwise historically significant."

 

I do not see a Ploogs listed.

Like I said, I pulled these from the Hall of Fame section in the 30th ed. of the OS, it has not been in the OS since then, and your above mentioned did not make the BAHoF.
