Anyone care to take a stab at this?

Tiny tear at the top of the front cover right in the center that you can see in the pics.

Spine looks nice from the front, a little rough looking at the edge.

Not really anything else to mention.

the spine kills the grade along with what appears to be rusty staples. the books has some nice gloss though and guessing how CGC will treat a GA book like this might bump it up a bit too.

I'd say maybe 5.5. It looks nice overall, but it looks like the cover is starting to tan along some of the edges. Maybe the damage along the spine is because of the paper becoming brittle and chipping away? It does present well. It looks a lot nicer than my low grade copy.

Looks like a solid 6.0 to me, assuming its not brittle. It looks as if it may be, but that could be the tan playing tricks!! Nice copy regardless. I sold my 213 last year and regret it now!

Thanks for the replies. After reading the comments I took a really close look at the staples. The top one looks a little tarnished but not really rusty. The bottom one doesn't look rusty at all. It's also doesn't seem to be brittle. I don't know if this changes any opinions but i thought I'd throw it out there.

The tanning at the top hurts as much as anything. The spine cracking is not unheard of with glossy books from this era, and if it's just surface and not actual splitting, it probably doesn't hurt the grade as severely as one might think.

 

6.0 more or less, with 6.5 more likely than 5.5 IMHO.
