First Ever CGC Submitted Books Arrived Today

I sent in 10 Cockrum/Byrne X-Men from my collection to CGC. First ever submissions. I tried to pick the best ones, but I probably didn't spend the time I should have examining them. They arrived today (very fast turn around time by the way, I sent them in on 1/21/05.) Anyway I was thinking/hoping 9.4 on each of them. Here's what I got (I was real nervous opening the box - had my wife read them to me):

Yeah first time submitting can be a little nerve racking, but it looks like you did very well even though you missed 1 out of 10.

Great job! My guess is that the 7.0 has slight "moisture rippling". That's a big hit

i'd say for the first time you did fantastic!!!!!!!!

 

whenever i got a big surprise like that 7.0, it was for some moisture damage on the back cover, big indentations on the Bc or some interior staining that i just didn't check out thoroughly.

 

you should be quite pleased......

considering this was your first submission, I think you did great. I've had somewhat similar success on Moderns, but Bronze and older I've had to get better at examining the book.
