"My eBay" question

16 posts in this topic

Does anyone know how I can stop getting those annoying "outbid" drop-down notifications in eBay?

The notifications scroll down the right side of my screen.

If I click on the little bell at the top and hit all the Xs to delete them, they just come back again and again and again...and again

It's driving me crazy ha ha crazy I tell you ha ha

Help!

Use a sniping program as an online service. It will just bid the maximum amount you’re willing to spend in the last seconds before the auction end (you specify the time) and no outbid notifications.

I used to be annoyed by those too. But solved it by making my proxy bid $1,000,000.00 on any auction I bid on. Since then, I've stopped getting outbid notices.

Just last night, I won a Flash #328 in FN- grade for $38,400.00 and I never once got an outbid notification..
