I was pretty excited about this book because I also thought it was a 8.0 or higher. The scans tell a good story and that's why I'm glad I'm getting feedback. The pages are off-white.

8.0-8.5 with a press... all of those spine creases on the back don't appear to break colour

7.0-7.5 as is

I'm thinking 7.5 range as is. I definitely think an 8.5 is possible with a press. 6.0-6.5 is really selling this book short. Very nice copy!
