The labels were ready, the slabs held only air,

in hopes that St. Borock, soon would be there!

 

The books were all nestled, all snug in their vault,

we dreamt of 9.6's and 8's, for they had not a fault!

But by the time they were graded, and it gives such a fright,

pages once perfect, had turned to off-white!
