Unlike a few vocal members though, I really like the boards format. It is simple and easy to use. I've never had loading issues either.

I believe the emails that can be sent from the demo are deliberately throttled to 5 per hour, so that means if/when there is a rush of signups, it will probably be a slow trickle to confirm your accounts.

In other threads Arch has posted that it is only capable of sending out 5 emails an hour. Be patient. (No I am not making this up)

I've used Invisionboard quite extensively in the past, and it's very flexible forum software. You can accomplish just about anything with a plugin, and there's a large community dedicated to both functional plugins and skins that really allow forum administrators to customize their forum. I even used the software and some developed plugins to create an arcade once with a bunch of flash games, a monetary system, leaderboard, etc.

 

I say that because just looking at the test forum site, it's very "vanilla". It'll give a good sense to the mechanics of the forum, but certainly will lack a bunch of bells and whistles that I'm assuming the CGC folks will layer in.
