Taking a break-- will try to wrap this one up tonight.

 

The Batman #227 is still available a few pages back -- someone grab it soon!

And we're back. So what's the key I mentioned last night? The hint didn't give it away? hm

 

Batman #227 -- Copy B -- VG/F?-- 5.0? -- $90

 

This is a tough book for me to grade. It presents really nicely if you look at the scans, but with too major defects that bump it down. There's a large tape pull on the front cover, albeit one that blends in nicely with the dogs and mist. The first time I saw the book on the wall of my local shop, I didn't even realize it was there from a distance until the owner pointed it out to me and I saw the book in hand.

 

The other flaw is a stain on the bottom of the back cover (not the colored fleck, but right to the left if it, just visible in the scan) that goes almost all the way through the book to the front.

 

All in all, it looks great in a mylar, and if you didn't see the bottom of the book, you'd think it was a much better copy than it is. Still pretty affordable for this key, IMO.
