Resub suggestions????

This book just came back from CGC with some others. I really missed the boat and should have checked it over more carefully prior to submitting it, as a result it is in a purple label.

 

The resto label is due to a small corner piece being glued on to the back cover, my question is this: should I crack this book and either:

 

1. remove the small piece and glue and resub for blue label

 

2. remove the small piece and glue and archival tape it back into place for blue label

 

I am on the fence, only because I hate tape.

 

What would you do??

Whatever you do...don't use tape.

Leave it as is...in a few years glue won't be considered as resto and can resub then.

 

Tape used to hold the book together = not resto

Glue used to hold the book together = resto

Thanks for the input folks. I think I will concur and leave as is.

 

Funniest part of the repair job is the incriminating finger print!!
