Man, they hammered the chipping on this one. Beautiful book, good luck!

Not dogging the book or carping the thread, but methinks the tape stain bleed through impacted the grade. I had an ASM 2 with ugly MC that got a 5.5.

CGC hammer stains. This is a great looking copy, bright colors, WP and snowy BC.

CGC grading is all over the shop of late. Just spin a wheel and let it stop at what grade you get it seems. I understand they don't like tape but lately I am seeing 6.0's that look like 3.0's etc

People say undergading of late I see it both ways. Anyone else?

Losing faith in them

Cgc don't dpwngrade for chipping do they? I know they wouldn't let a 9.8 have chipping but anyone know exactly where cgc stand on this?

Where are you based Roddulate?

I'm not sure on that one.

I am based in the UK.

Thanks.

Smart move

Nice! Perhaps even a candidate to crack out of the slab since that CGC grade in the upper-left corner isn't doing you any favors? Just a thought...

That is one beautiful copy for the grade assigned, even considering its one major flaw...

Hold on to that puppy tight!

Yea, I'd have to agree here. I haven't had to do it often, but when one comes back less then it should, then out it comes. Just one of those things. 6.0-6.5 absolute min 7.5 max IMO
