King Kirby and the Bronze Age: A Period of Decline?

81 posts in this topic

I am a 70's Kirby fan with The Demon being my personal favorite. I don't really care too debate their merits much any longer, though I will take every chance to ridicule the awful match-up of Kirby with Colletta inks. Especially compared to Royer (my favorite) and Sinnott (or even Chic Stone).

Now I tend to look upon my Kirby books as "seperate" from the rest. Weak writing, though with occasionally nifty stories.... very stylized and unique art...wild concepts and characters....pretty much the average view...

They're "Kirby books"...no more...no less...
