Hi All:

 

TERRIFICON, formerly CT COMICON, is coming back to the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT from August 19-21, 2016. Show hours are:

 

​Friday - 2:00pm to 8:00pm

 

Saturday - 10:00am to 7:30pm

 

Sunday - 10:00am to 5:00pm​​

I think it stinks that this show is right up Boston Comicon's arse and only comes the following week. I know now I can expect to see the same dealers with the same books. Promoters need to space out the New England shows. Who needs to go to several shows all within a few months. Think any dealer will be replenishing stock? Think buyers will be replenishing $$$$? Why the need to butt heads?

If they added Paul Smith, it would nearly have all the guys from my glory days of comics.

 

I need to figure out how to justify a trip that's both a casino and a comic con (there's a great story for the Mrs. "yeah...hon...I'm going to a comic con...but it's at a casino you see...") Because just one of those things means a pile of $$$ out the door...both combined? lol.

 

Great to see that NYComics crew looks like they're taking subs!

That's a pretty impressive line-up. Last year's show had an awesome guest-list that was loaded with old-school talent, as well. It's still early, so I wouldn't be surprised to see them announce someone like Roy Thomas, Walt Simonson, or Mike Zeck down the road.

I'm actually in the area that weekend visiting an old college buddy.

I can probably take subs for the show----I'll let Balent know.
