PGM: Goon #1 (Avatar 1999)

Really nice copy. Only flaws I can find are 2 spine ticks (one is nastier than the other, both do break color), and the back bottom corner is a little blunted.

 

Is this guy a candidate for pressing, or do those color breaks on the spine make that a futile effort?

I agree on the 8.5 votes. I think that corner knocks it out of the 9.0 NM range, unfortunately. Guess I won't be submitting this one after all.

If I remember correctly this is a cardstock cover, will a press do anything for that type of paper?

It isn't a card stock cover, it's just regular comic cover grade paper.

 

Although I do want to now know if pressing card stock covers is futile....

9.0/9.2 - the spine ticks will get flatter, but won't press out
