X-Men #1 CGC 3.0

Graded back in 2002.

So after reading many articles, and forums, I'm aware that CGC was much tougher on grading way back then.

I'd appreciate your opinions as to what makes the most sense:

- A resubmission.

- A clean and press, then resubmission.

- Leave it be in the old blue label.

Thanks guys!

I'd pay for the graders notes before spending the time and $$$ on a resub. There may be an issue with the interior or spine.

It definitely does looker nicer in the scan than 3.0 so it could grade higher. Still it can be very hard to nail a grade from a scan, Curious if i would think its a 4.5 in hand.

I don't always buy into the old label mystique, but this is a pretty danged tight 3.0.

Without having the book in hand, I guess it's hard to say what a press would do, but I think a cleaning may help.

Personally, I think if it were resubbed minus the clean and press, you'd still get a .5-1.0 bump and an upgraded PQ.
